10/30/2018 Tuesday - Friday Video et.al.

Good Afternoon folks. Since we are unable to record the video streams continuously, as accorded Sharon, these videos will be a shot on a hit and miss basis. They are not posted to Sharon's topic since they would probably duplicate some of her work. I am trying to find the best recording setting to take advantage of Jason's recent up grade to the site. YouTube has a habit of processing the videos submitted according to their requirents. As a result, some views are a bit fuzzy. 1080pHD provides the crispest picture.
.

This video uses the same raw video frames as the above shot. However, it is recorded at an aspect ratio of 960x720 and uploaded to YouTube as a WebM file. When downloaded from YouTube, it shows up as an MP4 file. The preview view is full frame unlike the prior video. YouTube has added the side bars in both videos. The second video has better lighting even though neither video have been post processed except for aspect ratio. Submitting the video at 720p usually insures that YouTube will process it as a High Definition file. The colors are richer and more intense in the first video. Part of the difference is a result of resolution and compression techniques used by YouTube. Yes, your monitor and the color adjustments you made to it makes a difference in how you view the videos.

Thanks for playing along. Perfection is not the goal, however the optimal video is desired with each submission.

Trial and error continues. This video trims a 3:4 resolution into a 16:9 resolution. Thus, the width remains same, but height is less. The video image moves from Depot to North Yard, to South Yard. Quality of 1080p is best. The black side bars are gone. Look good full-screen. YoulTube will continue to process, thus initial image may become sharper when viewed later. Have learned that in some parts of the country 1080p will not play because that locality ISP broadband speed is too slow. Come back later to see if initial view is sharper.
