I was just wondering how the dining hall is winterized. Does someone check on it during the winter, Is it even possible to get to it?

Steven, here are some photos that Engineer Carlos Llamas posted several years ago.

Once the snow starts falling, the only way to get out there is by snowmobile or sled team.
If you're curious, here's the link to all of Carlos's photos from that period. I saved and re-posted his website (with his permission) after it was shut down.
