The cab and firebox glow in the early morning dark. Its 463, looks like it is headed out with the freight built yesterday.

Post coming back from the wye the crew went into south yard and came out with another coach so right now we have a 9 car train staged for tomorrow which means a double header.
Here is 453/463 crossing the Rio Chama. No fancy camera work this time. I was unprepared and ran outside while assembling the camera and pulling on my boots. Just barely made it.

I did notice, but to be honest, I continue to use the locomotives assigned number even when it gets a new number for a special train. I continue to call the 315 the 315 and sometimes reference the 425 number.
