Morning preparations and start of July Fireman/Engineer School: NOTE: These shots were really done on 7/8 I just didn't change the date stamp in Lightroom.

Afternoon doings:

The pole by the pit is in the line of sight but think they have gathered around 484. Looks more like they are by the 489 now.

We had a brake shoe shackle come disconnected on car F. Ray, Evan and the Engineer lifted it up and Julian got some baling wire from his speeder and they secured it enough to come on to Chama. Before lunch #215 lost a bushing and was late getting to Osier. I love mountain railroading on the C&TSRR.

No Sharon, I didn't want to put pressure on Doc by encouraging the other passengers to come to the open car before their tickets were punched.
