Important Viewing Note. All videos have been processed to perform their best at YouTube 780 P quality level, and viewed full screen. By default, YouTube sets quality level at 480P, which results in a muddy picture. The viewer must set the proper level of 780 P for each video watched once playback starts.

The rush of steam is heard during the early morning hours. The sounds that come from south cam are truly the sounds heard in the San Juan mountains the early 1900's.

Roger presents a unique view of Locomotive 315 leaving Antonito on opening day.

Many cam viewers start their viewing day at Rogers Forum. He posts daily and has become the roving camera for Friends.

The locomotive to the left can be seen and heard pushing out smoke with its' steam.

Meanwhile, a delivery is being made at the fire shack. Possibly some fuel for the speeders?

Locomotive 488 moves to north yard exit and then backs toward main yard.

Once located on track to coal dock, locomotive 488 moves into position to be loaded.

Locomotive 488 has backed from the coal dock and connected with Train 216.

Passengers are drifting in to board Train 216, but most appear to be adults. Since children are no longer all gratis, fewer children are seen or heard. Wrong policy. Many young parents cannot afford to vacation without their children. Those same parents would love someday to take their grandchildren for a trip on the C&TSR. I wonder if these grandchildren will be taken for a ride by their grandparents? I wonder if this is how you build a future for the C&TSR?
.

C&TSR Train 216 leaves the Chama Station on time with Locomotive 488 pulling 7 cars including observation gondola.

The full sounds of Locomotive 488 are loud and clear as it passes the tipple and exits from the yard.

Just as it seems that Train 215 just left for Cumbres, we see that Locomotive 487 brings the riders back on time.

With the clanging of her bell and blast of her whistle, Train 215 slides slowly into the Chama Depot yard.

With the day's trip almost completed, the speeder driver is approach by a co-worker, who then walks to ash pit to inspect an earlier examined problem.

The passengers have finished their trip, but still find time to say goodbye to newly made friends. One of the best parts of the trip for a viewer is to hear the talk and laughter of people happy with the trip and grateful for each other.

Some People Go Nuts Over Knott's Berry Farm. I think it is because of their posing as the C&TSR.
