Question:Will 463 get either one of these on her tender?

One of these ship like lamps for the ladder and deck or a drain cock.. 464 at the Huck has both. :)

Good question!
The 463 did have a back up light (mounted more forward) but from what I can see did not have a water tap set up like that. Will the light be reinstalled? We'll just have to wait and see.

Here are a couple of photos of the 463's tender while it was being painted in the Monte Vista shop. (Apologies for the paint-induced haze. :-) )

The first photo shows the fore-and-aft location of the tender light bracket; the second shows the two brackets, plus the conduit and wires for the light itself.

There is no water tap or 'ship-like' lamp on the 463's tender, and it's interesting to see the ladder on the engineer's side, while the 464's is just the opposite.

And like Rich says: 'We'll just have to wait and see."
