C&TSRR = Aerial = Oooops A Big Tree

Unread postby Roger Hogan » Sun Nov 15, 2015 10:55 am

I am so glad I spent months flying my drone manually so when I did get in trouble in auto mode I would know how to take it over and get it back home safely. I have spent a little over a week starting to learn how to program flights here in my office and then take the drone out and fly the programmed preflights. Today I got in trouble cuz of a big tree.

A definite ooopps there. You saved that drone in the nick of time or the tree would have devoured it for lunch.

I came home and redid the plan and went back and flew the fixed plan of the swamp.

That was close! Glad you got things under control. Will look forward to what came out of your return trip after the fixes.
