8/30/15 and 216 looks like it has a caboose

Just checked into the cams after getting back home yesterday from my trip to Chama and saw a caboose on the rear of 216.

The 488 leads train 216 out of Chama on a nice Sunday morning and the speeder is hauling the water trailer today.

Yes, the 463 switched on the caboose last night after turning the shortened dinner train before retiring to the engine house.

Glad to see the 463 out and about. It was cold, in the engine house while I was there last week.

Today's 215 comes into Chama a few minutes late and seems to have the caboose which went out on 216 this morning on the end. This day has 487 completing its first full round trip of the season.

I could not tell but I think they switched the 463 back over behind the far engine house bay last night (the trees made it difficult to tell for sure). I am with you - nice seeing the 487 taking a turn.

Sharon, That caboose originally came in on Friday's 215. Interesting it went out and came back again today, perhaps someone paid to charter it?
