Looks like 488 is going back out today so the 484 must be getting some kind of work in the shop. The Friends are getting started on the next week of their work to help kept this railroad running.

The good business seems to be continuing with a 4th coach being added today. According to the weather app on the cam site its in the upper 40's this morning in Chama and its 87 here in Virginia.

The CDot cam has caught a nice smoke plume in Antonito.

The 216 heads east with 288 leading and giving a nice smoke show as 2 fans standing by the flammable shack takes its picture.

Lots of stuff going on in the yard today.

Not sure what the technical term is, but the mainline was closed for a few minutes.

Also, 487 has pulled 484 out of the engine house.

It is called "Red Flagging" which shows that men are working on or near the main line and have permission to do so. No train is to pass a red flag without express permission of the employee in charge of the work crew covered by the flag.

489 brings the 215 in at 4:17 past the equipment used by the tipple project crew.

08-03-15 Train 216 Departure

08-03-15 A red flag was placed for about 10 minutes on the main - must be doing some work that got too close to the rails. About an hour later, the flag was again placed for roughly 10 minutes.

08-03-15 A piece of some kind of equipment is dropped off near the tipple - anyone have an idea what this is? The curious want to know.

08-03-15 Train 215 Arrives with 489 in the lead. After turning at the wye 489 pulled 484 over to the left hand shop track - so perhaps we'll see 484 on tomorrow's train.
