Looks like everything is set for the 216 Departure in a few minutes. It's a clear day to ride!

Conductor Ray waves the highball! Then 488 and the speeder race down the yard!!:) A hot fire in 488 as the firebox door is open while pulling 8 cars east today.

After a quick stop at the ash pit, 489 has backed into the "on deck" position for tomorrow's 216.

The 215 may be running a few minutes late. The weather looks fantastic. Maybe the passengers asked the engineer to drive really slow.

Here's the video recaps of the day.
07-16-15 Train 216 Departs - notice the newly painted speeder near the ash pit as 216 heads out. I believe this was the fire engine red one we saw come in a few weeks ago.

07-16-15 RPO 054 moved after 215 turned at wye. Kind of interesting where they spotted it near the tipple - perhaps just temporary?

Looking at this fine car today reminds one once again of the effort put into restoring it.
