WORK SESSION D - Tuesday, June 25, 2013 - Part I

We are pleased to report that our youngest volunteer, Evan Martinez, is back during Session D, once again working with Team Leader Don Bayer on the restoration of RPO 54. Team Leader Don Stewart's painting team is once again in action, with projects at Chama, Osier and Antonito. And three stock cars are undergoing repair and restoration!
- Project Committee Chair John Engs and Marshall Smith check in with Session D Registration Team Leader Holly Ross and Diana Gross in Chama.
- Antonito Session D Registration Team Leader Linda Smith checks in Antonito volunteers; Sunday was a "light" day, with most of the volunteers waiting until Monday morning to check in early!
- After the Monday morning welcoming and safety session for volunteers, John Engs discusses registration issues with Holly Ross while Site Leader Bob Craine is checking things out!
- Newly restored engine 463 rests in Antonito after being used in an upcoming movie, "A Million Ways to Die in the West." Notice the stack and headlight!
- Warren Ringer, Team Leader Bill Pratt and Ron Senek discuss what part goes where as the rebuild of Gondola 783 gets underway.
- Team Leader Ron Horejsi checks a week eater that will be used during the right-of-way brush and tree control project out on the line.
- Painting Crew Team Leader Don Stewart checks out items in the tool car that his crew will need.
- Bob Hewitt and Team Leader Len Jones check to see if they have enough water hose to run from Bob Reib's place to where they will be installing gate posts. It is the nearest available water supply.
- Team Leader Scott Hardy talks with Site Leader Bob Craine about minor repairs.
