The work sessions on Friday will end early (around noon) because the Friends' annual membership meeting and dinner includes a train trip, departing at 4:15 p.m. for Cumbres - featuring a great dinner (fried chicken and all of the trimmings) prepared by Steven Flowers. Nice reward for a productive work week!
We won't be posting photos tomorrow because of the annual meeting, followed by the Friends' all-day Board meeting on Saturday at Cookin' Books in Chama.
Look for photos on Sunday, after registration is completed for Work Session D.

- Larry McDonald holds a new shutter for the "Maintenance of Wheels, Brakes and Safety Appliances" building next to the log bunkhouse. Shutters are being installed to increase security.
- Bob Hewitt and Team Leader Len Jones measure the old-fashioned way - with a small log chain. They are measuring the distance where a gate post will be installed.
- Team Leader Russ Hanscom and his team members have removed some of the old siding from Derrick OP's hoist house; new siding will be installed shortly.
