Making Space in the Engine House

This morning, at ap. 10:20, the bucket loader pulled a locomotive out of the east stall of the engine house, just far enough to clear the overhead door. Still sans tender, I believe. The image is shaded and blocked by the "Whatzit" that I asked about earlier. I won't venture a guess as to which locomotive it is... I seem to continually get that wrong.

If I'd waited a bit longer, I could have titled ths "Trading Places". During the course of the day, 488 was pushed down to near the ashpit, to allow 484 to be pulled out of the west stall and switched to the east track. 484 is presently awaiting re-installation of its cab, lagging, and jacket, as well as a number of its appliances. 488 was pushed into the west side. At the end of the day, both engines are tucked into the shop. Looks like all hands will be busy getting these ready to roll out by sometime in May. (Rich. If I don't have these #'s right, please jump in and straighten me out (again)!)

Edwin, I think you've got it right. :) But I have trouble remembering what day it is.
I thought there was something going on in Chama today but I was 'distracted' by events in Antonito.

I'll not disagree with you, Rich. As intriguing as things were after many days of inaction in Chama, the REAL news was definitely in Antonito!
