Hot loco this morning

For the second day in a row we have a hot locomotive warming up behind the house. I saw it undergo pressure tests yesterday. Purely by process of elimination, I would say that it is 488 as 484 is also visible behind the house and is definitely not in steam, 463 is outside the front and 489 does not have its tender. I also saw the backhole load coal into 463's tender so we may see her hot soon as well.
9:14 - 463 is hot too!

I am personally curious as to when the repainted coaches from Antonito will return, and how? I guess they'll most likely send either 19 from Antonito to run as far as Cumbres, and an engine from Chama will take over, or have one engine go all the way to Antonito and return with the coaches, as 315 and 168 are far too small for the job and 487 is still being converted.

What kind of work is being done near the road crossing the tracks towards the rear of the shop?

I just grabbed this capture from the Antonito CDOT cam. They definitely have a hot loco over there as well, and it appears it may be going out on a test run with some coaches.

Well, according to Scott Gibbs on the NGDF, it is 168.

Hope they polish the others as well! 484 is still filthy!
