All of the rails are covered, it's still snowing heavily, strong winds are piling up drifts, and as much as I love visiting Chama, I'm sure glad that I don't have to drive over LaManga and Cumbres Passes tonight. Finally, some much needed moisture, and a hint of how little fun it must have been to get trains across the line in winter.
