10.26.21 Quiet in Chama

487 is quietly simmering at the coal dock as snow gently falls. There is no loader action at this point and 487's tender is really empty. Well, what was going on was the crew was emptying the tender of another locomotive and this year they brought it over to the coal dock to do it instead of over by the roundhouse. Looks like they still shoveled it into a loader there, but sure a much shorter drive up to the coal pile from that road access then the house. No could not see the number on the tender. Well by process of elimination it was probably 488's tender since 484 is in Antonito and it looked to big for 463.

Me thinks it's 488 Sharon. 487 is still in steam, 489 is of course not a coal burner now and 484 and I think 463 are in Antonito.
Just a guy who loves steam.
