This morning we have two hot locos looking prepared and raring to go. Can't believe we're in the final week already.

487 comes out to haul the sixth to last Train 216 of the season.

A right on time departure for 216 this morning. Coach Sublette was in Los Pinos' usual place in the consist so is probably filling in until one of the new coaches is complete.

488 just pulled a cold 489 out from the west stall, and moved her to just in front of the east stall. We could see her hot again soon!

Now that 489 is an oil burner and its hard to tell if she's hot or not, I have now given her a nickname: 'Whispering Alice!' Hope you approve! Yes I know she hardly whispers with the six chime!
