10/28/2019 Smoke

There is smoke drifting everywhere around the house and it doesn't seem to be heater smoke. Perhaps 488 will make an appearance in this winter wonderland.

About ten minutes later all the smoke had disappeared so was therefore strong heater smoke. Maybe the weather is too intense for 488 to be used or that she isn't required at present.

Regardless of the snow, 488 will need service today so will come out unless they are letting her go cold.

15 has now been fired up, likely to move locos around.

Well, seems like 15 isn't going to move locos. It went from the roundhouse and up to the lead switch...

And straight into the south yard.

Once deep in the yard 15 then went to the south side of the house. So, don't tell me 488 is losing her tender? That doesn't make sense at all if it does happen. It now comes back to the roundhouse switch and heads back there to pull 315 out.

315 is then pulled out of the roundhouse, likely to make room for work taking place in the roundhouse. This was the same for her being pulled out several times back in March.
