My thought is that 315 is effectively subbing for 489 whose flues have pretty much expired. Keeping 488 in Chama and using 315 as helper may help with loco availability for the rest of the season, or maybe 315 will winter in Antonito.

Now that the 315 is active again this season, the dream double header is 315 and 463. They should be able to get 9 cars up the hill.

Here we have what I would call an historic 216 this morning and the cams are acting up.

All I got to see was smoke as the train disappeared into the trees.

No, I just checked them and it is still doing the same thing.

Now the north cam is off line. I'd bet the problem is with the ISP

Looks like 315 is crossing Hwy 17 after being cut off.

Ten minutes later 315 appears to be standing East of Hwy

Everything looks fine on the FCTS network. I think this is a problem with the company that hosts the stream and I've got a ticket started with them.
