New Camera Player

We've got new software for the cameras. After next week, I'll have some new features to play with. More later on that...

If you have problems, please let me know.

Jason, the new software sounds interesting, especially since you feel it is something worth playing with. What's the software title? Is it strictly to be used by the BB host? Will you be editing or just converting the videos? Does this mean we might see 720pHD video on these cams?

What software and possibly device does Sharon have that allows a full day of uninterrupted recording? Does she have a feed from Brown\Rice that is different than that for the rest of us.I notice that she takes screen shots like the rest of us. She has mentioned utilizing Bandicam for this purpose. I do the same. It was Larry who interested me in Bandicam several years back. If you install a new camera player, does this mean that we are no longer locked into YouTube?

The possibility of cameras in Antonito are a bit closer. Jade Communications has posted that installation of fiber into Antonito is 75% complete. If the Friends are billed for its' use at residential rates, 1 GB would be approximately $125.00. There is no charge for installation of fiber service. What is the cost of bandwidth out of Chama, so we may do a comparative analysis. I can't imagine Chama having the same upload and download speed. What is the monthly bandwidth usage at Brown\Rice? Possibly we can add two cameras at Antonito and stay in the same price bracket. Would help the budget. Sorry to see BRI stick their bug on our cams. Do the friends receive a promotional allowance from them?

Finally, it is disappointing to see the Brown\Rice graphic bug on our 3 yard cams. Sharon, I get the bug in both snapshots and videos. What's your experience?

It works fine for me. It will be interesting to see what happens when you "start playing with it".
