I am going to be out of town on these dates so I will not be posting anything over the penultimate weekend of the season but will be covering the final 5 days. Anyone who wants to help out please do so. Also, I do not have access to this forum while I am away, so any pm or post on the site will not be seen or responded to until I am back, Thanks for understanding.

It's 5:30 local time and train 215 has arrived late at Chama. Cumbres cam shows the highway has been plowed. At 5:53 463,numbered as 453, returns the coach set from the wye. Around 6:21 463 heads for servicing after a stop at the sand house. At 6:25 463 stops at the tank to fill up. By 6:30 463 is at the ashpit just about ready to head for over night service. Finally at 6:55 463, in a cloud of steam fog, rolls into the shop!

Cumbres must have come out of the clouds about a minute before that screen capture 'cause I was peeking all day long and all I saw was cloud. Could barely see the road below the tower.

I'd rather be on the train than driving...

The veil lifts, if only for a moment, and there's the helper at the grade crossing. Running a bit late I think...
