Morning preparations: At the beginning of this day 8 cars are staged. With the 463 out, we will have a double header no matter how many cars are on this train. Guess they got its whistle fixed.

I had a freeze of the tipple cams about 12:25 pm while the depot cam continued to run. Am glad because I watched that 13 car 216 leave on my tablet and hoped I did not miss it.

The 484 is getting coal added to its bunker as the 463 sits on the south yard lead waiting for its road crew

Arrival of train 215: The CDoT Cumbres cams are down so no shot from there today. Interesting thought as I wait for 215 to show up. The hard working crew at Osier is having to feed at least twice as many folks as normal with these long trains. I would bet the food is not degraded as a result. I am going to have to compare names, but I think at least 5 of the extra cars including the open gon that went out on 216 this morning came back this afternoon on 215. After looking at the 216 departure, Lava, Phantom, Cascade, Sublette and the open gon did the flip so the through train was 8 cars.

Evening:
After coming back from the wye the 488 removed all but one of the extra cars, so we again have 8 staged for tomorrow.
