Morning preparations: As the day opens, there are 9 cars stages so would be another double header.

The 489 is now parked awaiting its road crew as 484 gets coal. Though with all that steam rising from the cab of 489, I would say there is at least one road crew member on cleaning the cab.

The 489 has pulled the 9 car train into loading position as 484 waits. As you look at that RGS stockcar behind the parlor, the Friends in the recent Antonito session built 2 period accurate doors to put on it.

Love that first shot. Very dramatic.

I imagine the Open Car was pretty... open.

I thought so also Jason, and it rain quite a bit in the morning and early afternoon. Hope you enjoyed Durango.
