Waiting only a few minutes after Train 216 departed the Chama Depot, diesel locomotive 15 maneuvers into place and couples with a caboose and two flat cars. Locomotive 15 then hauls its load to the north end of the yard. If you look closely, you might find a crew doing some work in the area. Caution, this video is loosely edited and will last almost seventeen minutes. Grab a coke, turn up the audio and treat yourself to a much deserved respite.
It may be beneficial to go full screen and use the best quality video YouTube will allow to see the action. Locomotive 15 appears to have recently been painted and a theme of black and organge is used. That color scheme is lost in the dark shadows added to the scene by the setting of the South camera and location of the sun.
Those new to the Friends Web Cam page, will find this video report by Roger Hogan quite interesting. How would you put a 24 ton hunk of steel back on its' track?
