Sharon, Friends & Visitors. Yesterday, after filling with water at Cumbres, we were supposed to pull up 3 car lengths to unload Cinder Bear & Company. We were all surprised when the train took off toward Tanglefoot which it was almost at by the time Conductor Ray got it stopped. We then backed up to Cumbres and the Cinder Bear were not charged for the extra ride. I love all of the different things that happen daily. No 2 rides of around 120 now have been the same.
The Spruce trees on the Flat we saw 2 days ago were thinned out of the Narrows for fire control. They are now at the Y tail track awaiting the shredder. Catch U on the next WAVE.

Wow, Ray must have been livid when the engineer did not do the Cinder Bear stop. That, though, was quite the ride for the parlor passengers on the reverse move back to Cumbres. Did you stand on the platform and watch?
Just watched 487 take 8 cars out and Frank was waving from a coach window.
