5/20/18 smoke in Chama

Unread postby Sharon Evans » Sun May 20, 2018 11:05 am

The crews are working today and I have noted smoke coming from the west stall jack. Sometime this week 315 and 463 need to head to Antonito and 489 needs to head back. As far as hospital trains, don't know since the entire New Mexico train set is already in Chama as well as extra cars. Starting tomorrow I will be recording the entire day to ensure we catch any activity.

Whatever locomotive it is seems now to be on the south side of the house.

That is wonderful news Sharon. I know from my experience last year subbing for you, that spending ten to twelve hours in front of the monitor is tedious, but must be done to avoid the pause button stopping the video cam from streaming. Are you still using Bandicam for your video and snapshot captures? Thanks for your dedication to this project. You are a great example of a "Friend of the Cumbres & Toltec". Rick

P.S. Is the audio on the first video only from the South Cam or do you have all three cams open together?
Honored to have Friend's membership ranking of "Conductor."

All three cams were up on that recording. Yes I use Bandicam for my ongoing recordings. Jason said the external mike on the depot needs adjustment.
Thanks for the nice complement.

Listen as the 463 starts, it sounds like over the winter it now has an automatic bell vs the manual one.
