Just happened to be watching and just now a large number of motorcycles and tricycles went east out 17 with what, I think, was a support vehicle trailing. Made quiet the noise.

Sharon, Friends & Guests. The reason I didn't wave yesterday when 315 came in, is because I rode the bus down from Cumbres Pass to get an early start for my 9 hr drive back to Mesa AZ. I did an unofficial poll of the train employees yesterday, and they all said they would be back next year. So I will be playing with WW2 planes all winter @ the Commemorative Air Force, and anxiously waiting for next June when it will be Chama train time again.

Frank, thanks for that update and I and, all I am sure, wish you a wonderful season off from the C&TS and look forward to seeing you waving again next year. Just did a search and you get to play with a B-17 and B-25 among others, exciting.

Have no idea as to what they are doing with 489, but its pop has been going off for some time now. That sound makes it hard to hear the whistle of the incoming train as it blows for 17 and the bridge.
