Usually 6-8 hours. The temperature and pressure are brought up slowly to ease the strain on the metal.

Meanwhile one of the 2017 FOCTS work session projects is well underway with the siding removed from the boxcar sitting just west of the tipple.

Perhaps it's time for another fundraiser making photo frames out of the scrap wood.

So with 463 in Chama, guess it will head back tomorrow with the cars for Antonito as long as it is no more then 5 or we get an early season double header up the hill.

His arms are too short for Trombone. We're starting with Trumpet and Cornet and will work our way down as he grows. His Daddy is a firm believer that the bigger the horn, the better.

He can make a sound on most horns except Tuba. But, his first love is most definitely "choo choos!"
