5-18-17 Winter just does not want to go

Well, snow showers overnight in Chama and on the pass. No sign of steam this morning and 487 seems to be inside on the left after yesterday's outing to clear the line.

There's still some "sprucing up" to be done before next weekend, and some "inside time" is going to be beneficial. At least, smoke boxes need to be cosmetically treated for "psoriasis" developed over the winter, with all three besides 488 showing symptoms. It will be interesting to see the lineup for opening day. I'm sure that everything will be shiny and clean!

Looks like all have gone cold for the weekend. Even with the locomotives resting, the crews work hard to get the yard ready.
