Getting our gold back?

For the past couple of days, there's been a man-lift parked behind the flammables shed. This morning, it's down by the water tank, and it appears that they're doing some spot-priming. Perhaps we'll see the authentic Rio Grande gold going back on soon. I really didn't care for that brown!

Yeah, they're here to repaint the tank, but so far all they seem the be able to do is about 65 mph through the parking lot.

Doug: If they are there what in the world are they doing? The only crew I have seen at the tank was some shop guys on the lift.

Looked like they were readjusting some of the bands on the tank.

Looks like the painting is done, at least on the side facing the camera - much better than the brown for sure!!

Well hope they do repaint the other side since it was well worn gold, it was not painted brown.

The movie is called
Hostiles, due out in September. I tried to find a trailer but it's not out yet.
"Set in 1892,
Hostiles tells the story of a legendary Army captain, who agrees to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief and his family back to tribal lands. Making the harrowing and perilous journey from an isolated Army outpost in New Mexico to the grasslands of Montana, the former rivals encounter a young widow whose family was murdered on the plains. Together, they must join forces to overcome the punishing landscape and hostile Comanche tribes that they encounter along the way."
