The more I look at the shot from the south tipple cam, it sure looks like the dog house of 489's tender is sticking up above the cab. So is that tender still attached?

You could be right Sharon. It would explain why the locomotive seems to be so far forward from the engine house door ...

Which ever locomotive that is, there's a tender behind it for sure. Rumor Control from in the shop says that all refits are going well.

It's 489, last locomotive with its tender attached for the Christmas trains.
