With the temperature around 5, the heaters in the house are working hard. We can again see 487 sitting on the south side of the west stall and there is smoke coming from the locomotive jack over this stall.

Getting coal for today's activities. Easier to bring to 489 than try to get her to the dock.

The mystery is still in what are they doing every day for around 5 or 6 hours. I would think that the oilers would have been tested by now and to be out running up and down the line for that length of time seems curious. Looking at the snow on 489's plow, they can't be going much further then second crossing and back.
