More smoke from the shop stack this morning, no idea if it's 489 or 487 still hot. Likely the last day for anything before the holiday weekend, as I'm sure the shop crew has all 4 days off.

Larry I am sure that is 487 sitting over in front of the east stall with all that snow on the plow.

Good point! I'm just looking at yesterdays video captures and noticed the full plow. I'll post avideo into yesterdays thread soon.

487 now hot as well. Two hot locomotives a month after the end of season.

Something happening this afternoon.




15 just pulled out of the house with a tender. Could not see which locomotive it came off of. Anyone watching earlier, which locomotive was in west stall? It had been 489.
It looks like for now all the tenders are being put on the south lead track to the east stall.

It was hard to read the number with the sun, but fairly sure its 487.


I had to leave home early for an MD appointment, did 489 go out of town again today?
With 487 parked in front of the east stall, 15 has gone and parked.

Well 489 has returned from more testing of the oilers. Guess we now know what locomotive will power the Christmas train.
