There is smoke coming from the jack pipe on the west stall this morning so 489 still is hot.

Missed them coming out, but 489 by the tank now.



489 heading for coal this morning.

The season maybe over but activity continues on into the 4th week since the end.

Has it been 4 weeks already! Time flies! Sure doesn't seem like it with the activity we have had. Maybe the weather will cooperate and there is enough work to see steam each week until the Christmas trains. Well, I can dream anyway!

489 Just headed out again.

Really would be nice to know that they are doing.

19 and ballast hoppers are gone today from in front of the tank. So some activity on east side continues. One would think bringing a coach set back over to Chama should be forthcoming one of these days before the winter weather closes in.

Looks like #15 is fired up.


Looks like #15 headed to the South side.

#15 appears to have gone down to the wye, came back entered the shop through the South doors, out the North side now is in the East side shop - perhaps getting 488? Or is it 484, I forget if 484 was put back into the East side the other day.



Needs to be a rule for the crews -- pull loco far enough forward to see the number on the cam!

#489 is back (around 11:30) and has been sitting on the main since ...

Meanwhile, #15 has pulled #484 (definitely without tender) from the west stall and returned it to the east ...

#489 has still to return, but I'll miss it as it's bed-time here in the UK ...

489 did return about 4:30, after an ash pit stop they went back into the West shop stall. When it got too dark to see any longer at around 5:45, there was still smoke coming from the shop stack, so we'll see if we get more of 489 tomorrow or not.
