Well here we are, the final weekend for the 2016 season. The yard is calm now, locomotives quietly percolating away, but with a double-header leaving today we'll have some activity soon.

Two locomotive headlights on ready for the day. 463 is first to the ash pit.

216 heads up the hill, on a great looking day for a train ride!

Around 10:30 489 goes to the tank and coal dock. Later 489 backs down on the main as a crewmanoils around. Looks like 489 may be going out.Missed departure but caught the plume of 489 light? out on main heading east.

At 12:35 489 is back at the ash pit.

487 brings in the next to last 215 at 4:12. Conductor Ray swings off and places a platform step and heads back to put others down.

Clean up chores are underway. Coach attendance carries coffee carafes off and at 4:24 coaches head for the wye.

215 Arrives with 7 car consist. Will be interesting to see what comes back on tomorrow's 215, or if they leave any extra cars that went out today in Antonito.
