Looks like a crisp day for a trip over the line. Riders pose on the platform in front of the drumhead for pictures. Then Conductor Ray gives the highball and boards. Its departure time about 10:06.

Do not know where 489 is dumping ballast but looks like it is back for a refill.

215 arrives at about 4:10. Conductor Ray puts down the step. Later BOB Ross walks through with the docent equipment. Another bright late season trip in the books.
