Well, 38 v 26 yesterday is a little warmer. Should be another great day for the railroad as the weather looks very good, the aspens are turning nicely for a lovely gold over the mountain sides as the passengers slowly wend their way up the grade to Cumbres and beyond. All 3 K36's are in Chama this am so no telling which one will get the call, my guess is 484 but that is really a SWAG.
This week we get Goose 5 coming back and will run with 7 and 315 will be hot again, so something for us all to look forward to as the week begins.

The lower sun angle along with the creep of the colors down the valley gives some old time "Rio Grande Gold" over the yard in the late afternoon sunshine.
