Afternoon yard doings and preparations for the Sunset Dinner train:

The 487 is getting ready for tonight's Sunset Supper train. One thing for sure, 484 went east today on 216 so it will not be on the student trains.

Preparations and departure of the Sunset Diner Train: 487 and 7 cars
Now the scramble begins to clean and restock the train for its 5pm MDT departure.

Here's today's videos - starting to see just a bit of color change in the trees around the yard.

Train 216 departure.

Train 215 returns. After 489 turned the train at the wye, 487 took over for the dinner train.

Dinner train departs Chama - as 487 got going, the fire patrol speeder had to make a quick retreat as 489 wanted to head to the shop, speeder then headed out for it's patrol .

Dinner train returned about 9pm (no video on that one).
