484 is early to the coal dock today. Home from the trip, rested a bit and watching. Nice to be able to look in from
afar. Thanks again to all who commented on the pictures posted. It was a fun 15 days out on the RR.

We have the student freight going out first and they go through to Antonito today. Osier will have 3 trains through it though the 12 guys on the student train won't put much of a strain on them.

Left to right we have the 489 and 463 in front of the house and the 484 back in south yard.
463 has now moved back into the west house stall.

This shot was taken as the 484 lost its footing briefly.

Train 216 is passing the tipple and looks like a light load today as would be expected.

I don't normally record after dark unless I know trains are running, but caught our Tim writer at work, about 8:30 last night.

Looking at the earlier grabs when the sun was not up, it looks like we have 2 TIM's on the pilings.

That first one had to happen overnight on the 4th. It wasn't really there on the deer video I have late that night, and it's fixed up by the morning of the 5th. Ok - back to today's coverage.

Yes, the countdown clock to the next trip is underway!! Defintely a fun time with the trains and those folks out there on and around the RR.

Afternoon doings including arrival of train 215: 487 and 7 cars
Never had this catch before, look closely in the valley and you can see train 215. I confirmed this since this small line was gone on the next update.

Again look closely and you can see the student freight parked in front of the Antonito depot.


As the train nears its end, there are still a few people enjoying the nice afternoon in the open gon.



I went back and checked and yesterday the 216 went out with its 3 regular coaches.

Appears some heavy construction equipment is staying overnight at Cumbres.

If you look at the shot down the valley you can see the "men working" sign on 17.
