Looks like a nice morning for a train ride. Calm of the morning always looks good, I even like the fog up on Cumbres today - should clear nicely by train time.

Afternoon doings Chama yard to include the return of the speeders:
As befits the final long holiday weekend of the summer, all is quiet in Chama.

Tomorrow morning they will head out to Antonito and return Monday afternoon.

First off for the day the NARCOA Speeder group heads out, going to Osier and back today I believe.

Train 216 Departure from Chama

The NARCOA Speeders return a little over an hour ahead of 215.

And finally the 215 returns, with the speeders being tied down by their crews.
