It is quiet as the yard is almost ready to begin the day's activities. 489 is back out and sitting on the east lead in front of 463 and 487 is on the west. Currently the house switch is set to the west side where 487 is sitting.

Look closely at the front of the 487 near the ground and you can see steam. This is coming from the front cylinder valve and it should be closed. Without going back to earlier threads, I think that the 487 had issues with this valve before.

It would not be unusual to still have the cylinder cocks open after this short distance from starting up - can't see if there is steam on the left side, though, so you may be right, Sharon
