The C&TS is going to have a very busy weekend coming up, but most will not be in Chama. To start, we see 4 hot locomotives sitting in front of the house.

I think 315 is to make two Cumbres turns today to take cars up and leave them for Saturday.

Smoke in this capture may be 216 which would have been crossing 17 just about the time this snap was taken, missed the capture by a few seconds either way.

Departure of the supper train: 463 and 5 cars, coach, snack, open gon, tourist and parlor
Since 215 came in with 9 cars, they will have to remove at least 3 so 463 will be able to pull the hill alone. They removed 4.

Videos of the day so far ---

315 started early this morning, went to ash pit and watered as normal, but surprised they skipped the coal dock. In a rare move, 315 brings the entire train to the coal dock.

After backing from the coal dock, 315 departed the yard. Going uphill they had to drop one car at Lobato, as with the slick wet rails it was just too much weight to pull.
