The first day of August sees 487 at the ash pit this morning, and it looks like the work session F group is having their Monday morning meeting.



487 heads over to the coal dock as the sun tries to poke itself out this morning.

Looks like the Friends team hard at work clearing out the weeds next to the sandbox. The deer that often lie there won't be too happy about that!!!

216 heads up the hill with 487 in the lead. If all goes to plan, we should see 487 back this afternoon on 215



One from Antonito as 463 was getting ready for today's departure.

Caught the end of 215 at Cumbres.

215 arrives with 487 on the point, so a locomotive switch, as expected, once again at Osier as 463 works out of Antonito.

Green and red are I on Parlor platform but I was waving at a Friend I worked with last week.

Some switching in the North yard with the tank cars as 484 is at the ash pit.

Looks like they just pulled the first two cars forward some - got some separation between them - perhaps for additional painting or stenciling?
