Locomotives peacefully simmering before the work day starts. Friends already at their projects in the yard.

Just a note - I won't be here for a little while this morning, so there may be a lack of live caps, if anyone feels like filling in the blanks have at it! - I have to go do a photo shoot at my job for website pics. Will catch up when I return.

Riders for today gather on the platform waiting for boarding time. Appears to be another great "Chama Time" day!

Today's train set for 216 has now been pulled to the boarding position at 9:30 local time.

Smoke from the idling loco over in front of engine house drifts over the yard ten minutes before 216's scheduled departure.

Conductor puts platform step on the palor car, gives highball, and 216 pulls out in time behind 487.

With 216's departure FOCTS resume restoration projects underway in view of tipple cam.

It was a wonderful hamburger lunch today from the kitchen crew. It is a beautiful day but HOT.

489 brings the 215 in at 4:12 local time.

On the way back from the wye 489 sets out the freshly painted RPO car by the platform.

489 sets out two coaches from today's 215.

At 5:15 switching done 489 heads for service.

Here's today's video -

More platforms were brought down to the oil rack today by the big forklift. Navigating slowly over the tracks.


After 489 coaled, and was about to move someone came up and obviously made a request of the crew. After waiting for the main to clear from the forklift machine, 489 went down and moved one of the tank cars back over to beside the racks - must be for fitting something down there.



216 Departs with a 8 car train today.



215 returns with the 9 car consist that went out yesterday, after turning at the wye, they moved the painted RPO back to it's depot location.
