Looks like 489 is our locomotive of the day, seems like a fairly cloudy day today -- hopefully it will clear a bit for the passengers before train time.



487 has now come to the ash pit for service, while 489 is down at the water tank.





489 heads to the coaling dock.

487 now passing the tipple - if going for coal, could be a doulbe-header today. Perhaps for the PBS filming?



487 is indeed heading for coal.



Have to wonder if they had an issue with the loader -- as it still sits there after only putting in a couple scoops into 487.



487 now sits on the main just by the tipple.

Looks like 489 going for an additional coach in the South yard.

Adding one coach, which I believe will bring us to 9 cars for this train, including caboose.



489 has pulled train up to boarding position, 487 should back to train shortly.

The weather has cleared up nicely as 489, with 487 helping leads out a double-header from Chama this morning.

That was some chase this morning. Should have pictures this evening as well as yesterday's.

215 returns with 484 in the lead. One of the tank cars that went to Antonito - I think for wheel work - is back, I assume for more work during this weeks work session.

Thought I'd have a little fun and do an old style film version today. Imagine if we had webcams back in the day.... what fun sights we'd see!!!



Train 215 Arrives with 484 in the lead. Behind the locomotive is one of the UTLX tank cars, back to Chama for more work during the upcoming work session.



After turning the train at the wye, 484 brings the tank car to the swamp.
