489 First up this morning, but we have two headlights on - so we'll have to see what happens here.

As 489 has her ashes cleaned out, 487 pulls up behind and switches to the East lead from the West lead, then getting 463, pulling 463 up and then back into the West side shop.

With 463 now inside the shop again, 487 is at the ash pit while 489 now gets her load of coal.

After getting water, 487 returns to the East side shop lead, as 489 prepares to put the train together for today's run up the hill.

Looks like a beautiful day to ride over the RR today as a locomotive sets beside the tank!

489 now hooked up with an 8 car train, soon will move forward for boarding of today's passengers.

Train 216 departs, slowly and almost thought they were going to stop again past the tipple, but they didn't and continued on. Great day for a train ride!!

Well, lets start off my afternoon of reporting with the fire patrol speeder blocking 487 from getting to the pit. Looks like 487 is going to pull 463 back out, will post pictures as I get them.

Arrival of train 215 into Chama: Locomotive 484 with maybe 8 or 9 cars. Based on its arrival time in Cumbres would expect about a 4:15 pm MDT arrival in Chama.

Apologies for no video of the days activity, t-storms knocked the power out in the afternoon, and never got net back until evening. With work I had no time to edit yesterday -- I'll have them coming up in a bit this morning.

Here's 216, I'm going to also work up something from the morning activity as there was some nice smoke and sounds to see.



489 is the road locomotive of the day, 487 moves to put 463 from the East side to West side shop, then goes for water and a cleaning before heading back to outside the shop. Some nice steam/smoke and sounds for a summer morning.
