Weather looks much better to start the day today. 484 (I think) already in action, pushed whatever was behind her back into the shop, now getting sand. Quick video to start the day of some steam, and a deer observing before deciding the swamp is a better place to hide!!

Remember that shuffle yesterday between 484 and 489. That was 489 behind the 484 so shoved it back into the shop. Maybe for more adjustments on the oiler. I find the best way to identify 484 is look for the light strip at the bottom of the cow catcher. The 487 and 489 with the plows are all black, though the 489 sometimes looks almost white with reflection of sunlight.

An easy way to distinguish between 487 and 489, while looking at their "faces", is to check out the configuration of the plow on the front end. 489 has a pilot beam which protrudes through on each side of the plow. 487 does not.

That is close in ID Ed. I was speaking of the ID on the cams from a distance.

John Engs said that many days especially Friday it has poured BUCKETS in Chama. It greatly affected the paint crew, (ever tried to paint soggy wood?)

I just spotted the all terrain fork lift moving with what looked like a set of drive wheels and he has gone into the east stall where 489 is located. Is there a drop table in the house?

Yes 487 was at the ash pit and went for water, now on the East side. Happened around 10:30 or so.

That means 489 is still inside the east stall.

Here's today's 216 video. Will get the 215 video up in the morning, as it's off to work time and I've had some software issues.
Here's 215 arrival, 484 comes in again leading - seems to be going very slowly, slower than normal anyway.
