Looks like the RPO car is getting some TLC as smoke drifts over both yards about an hour out from
departures.

Friends are doing some work on the RPO (as noted by Mr. Gibson), as 216 moves forward to boarding position. Finally a morning without the fan noise so I can have that cam up.

Fire speeder at the ready, as lots of folks are out and about in the yard Friends, photographers, passengers.

I had noticed last year that the RPO had areas where the green paint had faked off. Guess they are addressing that.

That piece of equipment closest to the south camera has got to be a flanger or small spreader with the wings that I see.

The Friends are doing incredible work. It must be an amazing experience working in the environs of a live steam railroad. Wish I was nearer (and younger), though I might get to ride next June.

Yes, it is Sharon. If I remember correctly Larry S has posted a video late last week showing it being moved down from the north yard.

RPO had problems with the primer that was initially applied. It will be taken down to a point where new primer can be applied and following that a new finish coat, lettering and then clear coat.

Craig McMullen is leading the team changing some sills on the brown spreader.

Chuck Deuker is leading the team on the Jordan spreader. I talked to Chuck tonight and his team performed a hydro on the 180 gallon resivour tank and then they drained it so they could check all of the air cylinders and controls for function. Chuck says there are LOTS of air leaks to deal with but they are hopeful they will be finished with it obey the end of session D.
