I have noticed that there is someone with the handle of 'gatorphoto1' who is posting video grabs of the trains over on YouTube. I would guess this is OK. I have not watched so don't know if he gives credit to the Friends for the cams.

Knock, knock, Larry is this you posting first to YouTube than linking here?

It's Larry. He's in Florida. Hence the gator reference.

As soon as it was said this was Larry, I put the handle in prospective, ie Florida.

Yup that is me! The whole gatorphotography thing came from a discussion years ago during the time I was covering space shuttle flights with the group I was with then. One of the guys that was a graphics student in college at the time designed a logo for me and such, and the name just stuck. It's been shortened to gatorphoto1 just for less typing. Past years I was putting the videos on my website, but some had had issues viewing them, so this year I decided to put them in my YouTube account.

As to credit to the Friends if you look at the descriptions of most of the videos, I have a standard note that tries to promote the Friends, and even get people to join - I've had the same note basically on my site as well. If there is a better way for me to do this, I'm all ears and willing to listen to any suggestions.

You know I had to resort to using YouTube in order to post videos here so I don't have any better way.

Thank you Larry and Sharon for doing this and giving credit and promoting the Friends. It is our hope that all this promotion turns into some new memberships and volunteers for work sessions. Also, if we can entice more people to ride the Cumbres & Toltec then we will have accomplished something. Thanks!!!

You're welcome Tim! I try to feed Jason some things to keep Twitter going too, and will see what other ideas I can come up with to help promote the Friends and the railroad!
