Sometimes, during the seemingly quiet winter months, we wonder if anything is happening inside those engine house walls. A look at the "nekked" shell of #488 tells us that the amount of work dictated by a 1472 rebuild is mind-boggling! There's a long way to go on this baby yet, but hats off to a talented shop crew. They'll get 'er done!
